Friedel Anderson (born 1954) is one of the most important contemporary north-German painters and is a member of the group “Norddeutsche Realisten”. His works capture a glimpse of reality and are partly painted outside, partly in Anderson’s atelier. They impress and convince through atmospheric density and intense mood. Still lifes as well as landscapes are a big part of Andersons work, which can be found in several collections, private and public.
