Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish painter, graphic artist, and sculptor. His work is defined by many and diverse artistic forms of expression, especially by expressionism, surrealism, and cubism. Together with his close friend Georges Braque, Picasso founded cubism, which marked the beginning of his incredible artistic career.
