Ulf Petermann (born 1950 in Brunsbüttel) is a north-german painter. His works consist mostly of north-german landscapes, which he captures in a realistic style fitting for portraying the convergence of sea and land. Petermann also excels in painting people, which shows in his impressive beach scenes, but mostly focuses on landscapes. He travels around a lot to collect inspiration for his motifs, which he has found among others in St. Peter Ording and on Föhr as well as Sylt. He is a member of the “Norddeutsche Realisten” and frequently joins their artistic gatherings.
