Isabel Ritter (1978) is a sculptor from Munich. She was already a recognised master student during her studies of fine arts in Nuremberg. Since graduating in 2010, she has been invested in nature and individual aesthetics. She transforms her impressions into unique works and massive sculptures. In extensive work steps, she pours, welds and paints the bronze figures into a variety of deceptively authentic looking fruits and their shells. Thereby, Ritter wants to criticise our “throwaway society” and refers to the temporariness and preciousness of nature.
